Mission types
Plan the route your project calls for, from mapping blocks to complex terrain and linear sites.
Ortho and oblique
A standard mapping block for orthophoto and oblique coverage.
Orbital planning
Plan orbital missions around a single object, across an area, or along a strip. Choose from single, area, and strip orbit routes to suit your survey.
Terrain follow
The route changes height from a digital elevation model.
Corridor
For roads, pipelines, power lines, and other long narrow sites.
Waypoint
Three modes live in this task: panorama, waypoint flight, and virtual stick.
Facade
A facade scan. This is a separate task from orbit.

Import boundaries and divide the survey
Import KML or a CSV of boundary points containing longitude, latitude, and elevation. The guide specifies clockwise point order for CSV boundaries and illustrates automatic division into survey blocks.
Configure a custom camera
The custom-camera tool supports different cameras and payloads. Its settings include image dimensions, focal length, pixel size, and photo interval for planning the capture setup.
Resume the mission and export POS data
RockyCapture includes breakpoint resume for interrupted flights. After flying, select the mission and export its POS data to phone storage for subsequent image processing. These are application-wide workflow features.
